Addison Groove is without question at the forefront of this emerging bass-centric wave of genres.
He has pushed the boudries of dance music for over a decade, he’s successfully combined all the right flavors of jungle, footwork, stripped down drum beats, acid baseline to carve a unique and infectious groove - everything he touches sets the dancefloor alight and has DJ's across the globe itching to draw for the next Addison banger.
Taking influences from the Chicago ghetto tek and juke scenes, Addison Groove’s impact on UK bass music has been colossal and unprecedented, sparking a huge interest in these styles from his peers and the listening public alike. Supports from Wonky Kong residents Siesta, Andy S, Turner, and a very special appearance from Kilo Vee and Rhythm Works’ very own Will A.

Dubbed the “Queen of Drum’n’Bass” in China; Siesta’s passion for collecting records dated back in 1999, when she started out as the only promoter putting on a series of world-class drum’n’bass parties in HK. The rise of drum'n'bass in Shanghai is evident, and her collective "PHREAKTION" plays a crucial part of making it happen. “PHREAKTION” was set up in the summer of 1999 in Hong Kong and later moved to Shanghai in 2005, and sinced then the started the seminal drum'n'bass party brand "Sweatshop", playing host to every one from Andy C, Roni Size, to Goldie, Fabio, Marky, Pendulum, Scratch Perverts, LTJ Bukem, London Elektricity, just to name a few.
2008 saw Siesta reach yet another pinnacle moment in her DJ career when she was invited to attend the Red Bull Music Academy in Barcelona, making her the first person to represent China. In 2009 she started a new offshoot called WONKY KONG, aiming to promote the emerging sounds of UK dance music.
DJ Will A is influenced by his teenage days in Manchester, a city notorious for its formidable club and music culture, and developed a taste for the UK sounds of garage, house, techno and acid house. He will bring a range of distinctly Manchester sounds like Joy Division to a blend of Deep Chicago House and Acid-Jazz.
